Faith, Hope and Love and Throwback Thursday

Hey friends! It's Summer Time!! I've been trying to relax, EXERCISE, and do  some sole searching, I often find myself coming back to the same verses. So I made printables and framed some of them to add to our home, office and in the fall (hopefully) my CLASSROOM!!

I did interview for a position and am praying that God leads me to the right position.

So my plans for this summer? Of course, hitting the gym a little extra :) I have about 10 lbs to go to my ideal weight and I'm super excited about getting there. Do you need a little extra support with your fitness routine? Check out our fitness blog!!!

We are also going to be vacationing and just trying to spend all that extra family time that we can :)

Here are a few pictures of my latest TpT Packet: Bible-Verse-Posters-on-Education-Life-Love-and-Everything-Else-736399

I'm also linking up with Sweet Cara from The First Grade Parade!

Here's my Throwback Thursday Post with a little Math Freebie!

post signature Hey y'all! I'm linking up with my sweet friend Tessa, from Tales Outside The Classroom!

She's hosting this linky party so I just HAD to join in!

*People* I'm in LOVE with!

Of course-- My husband! My husband is my rock! I just love him to death. He's loving, caring, funny and best of all, the best husband and father I could have ever wished for!

Yes, that is a TEXAS Flag vest...can we say PROUD TEXAN???? ;)

My kiddos are so amazing! I love them so much! They are so energetic and keep me going ALL the time! Life never stops with boys in the house!!!

*Products* That I Love!

Humm--that one is EASY!

I love this water bottle that I got as a Christmas gift! I use it EVERYDAY!!

Of course-- Y'all know how much I love my country music! I found this gem in my CD collection the other day--I've been blaring it in the radio EVERY since!! haha! Who can resist KING GEORGE?!?!

Here is my latest freebie FREE-Addition-Math-Center That I just uploaded to TpT!

I use it as a math center when my students are finished with their work. I simply printed on card stock, laminated, and secured with binder rings. Then, I store in a ziploc bag with dry erase markers and dice! My kiddos love this!

My I Can Make Words  is getting great feedback from teachers of various grades! I love that you can differentiate it so easily! This packet includes 10 printables for making words. Students cut letters out and arrange them together to make words.

*Places* I'm in LOVE WITH!

I'm  so totally in love with the...GYM! I know it sounds crazy, but every since I started my fitness journey, I have just really enjoyed getting the stress out with exercise! My favorite exercise has to be squats! I love them! More than that, I LOVE the results from killing it with squats!!!!

I am also really enjoying the dead lift--but don't tell my trainer! Haha! I might whine a tad when we have to do them! But all and all, exercise in general really excites me! My husband just started working out this week..He's went like three times and I've already had to run him outta the vitamin stores! I'm like baby steps hun, baby steps ;) He would buy every protein supplement if I would allow it! I'm like let's see how long it *last* before you go spend a bunch of money on something---does this sound familiar to anyone else ;)

I just can't wait to get to the place where I can really just start maintaining my weight and not having to diet as serious. That part, is NOT fun!

Thanks Again Tessa for hosting this great linky party!

Till Next Time!

We all need a little FAITH

post signatureA verse that is speaking with me today and I wanted to share~

Isaiah 40:29 -31

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Have a great day everyone! Hug your loved ones tight and be thankful for all of the blessings that the lord gives us~

Proud to be a teacher!

Our fundraiser was a huge success!!! Words cannot express my feelings right now. A week ago, I had an *idea*. I wanted  to donate $25.00 to the victims of the awful tornado that hit Moore, OK last week. I knew that it wasn't much, but wanted to do my part. Then, I randomly thought, "What if I organize a fundraiser"...I certainly did not expect it to do this well. I am SO proud of the education community. We all came together. From the teacher authors who donated their products and blogged about the fundraiser, to the people who donated and everyone in between...my heart truly is grateful to you. Today, a $29,394 donation was made on behalf of Teachers throughout this great nation. I was so PROUD to be an American, a teacher, a woman, and a blogger. This whole process just goes to show that one idea CAN make a difference.  God doesn't plant the seed for us to waste it!
I give all of the credit back to you. You donated your hard earned money. You helped me spread the word. We came together and accomplished something so wonderful.

Some people have asked me if I am keeping a portion of this donation. I want to be clear, 100% of the money went to American Red Cross OKC Earmarked for Moore, OK!

If you donated and did not receive your product, please e-mail me at benoitcreated@gmail.com. Also, PLEASE Check your spam and junk folders!!

So tonight I'm going to  laugh with my family, relax, eat Chick Fila french fries (If you follow my fitness blog you know how big of deal this is) and thank God for the thousands of blessings I have in my life.

Thanks for going on this journey with me friends! God Bless!

Teachers Love Oklahoma

You know when something horrible happens, how we stayed just glued to the TV. All of the terrible and tragic things our world is faced with breaks my heart. But when I saw those little kiddos being carried out of that rubble...my heart literately broke. I just kept thinking about my family, and how truly blessed I am. Life can throw us all curve balls, and we all have days that we think we just have it so bad. Then, something like this happens. Like what just happened across OK.
My hubby kept saying "Ash, how many people do you think are homeless?"
I really, really do not want to think about those numbers. Or the number of parents that are burying their little guys.
I finally decided, with tears in my eyes, to turn to my friends in the blogging community. Within MINUTES..I had so many people offer to help.
So here we are  offering a fundraiser. This is your chance to give back and receive a tremendous amount of teacher created products.

I will take donations until May 28, 2013!!!

For a $25.00 Donation, you will receive over $250 worth of teaching products! ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE RED CROSS OKLAHOMA CITY!!!

****Donations are now closed****

Hug your family a little tighter and be thankful for all the things we are blessed with. I know this is one tragedy I will NEVER forget!!!

Ashley
