R Controlled Vowel Giveaway

              Hey everyone! I did a giveaway last week on my FB Page for my R-Controlled-Vowels-Literacy-Packet! After that giveaway, I realized I have not hosted a giveaway with other bloggers in quite some time! Teaching R Controlled Vowels always takes a {ton} of resources it seems!!!

Hey everyone :) My last giveaway was right in the middle of my move, and I didn't spend much time telling you all about it. I wanted to do a LARGER giveaway in celebration of my 100+++ followers!

Ya'll know I LOVE cute stuff...well the fabulousVintage-Sweet-Chic donated a great little teacher kit :) It includes a stapler, tape dispenser and scissors! This store is so adorable and hope that next winter when I visit CO I can visit myself. Until then, thank goodness for the internet!!!

End of School

I can't believe how long it's been since I posted! Ohh my goodness!! We've been  showing our house to sell it and everything has just been insane! My preacher talked about everyone taking a "Time Out" and we soooo need to do that!

The last week of school  was very hectic! We just finished up Friday. We had our school awards, classroom awards and end of the year party. I purchased a few end of the year memory books on TpT before the end of the year came..but the lovely Cara Carroll posted a FREE End of the Year Book and it was wonderful!! We made foldable year books. The folded their papers into fourths, then wrote each child's name in a box. Then they drew a picture of each kid and had each kids sign it. They loved this! I'll add pics later, my camera card is still at school!!!!

So now to our classroom! For 5 weeks, yes, FIVE, we've been working on R Controlled Vowels! So I've had to throw in some other things because the kiddos are darn tired of it! We've amped up our sight words, and practiced inflectional endings. Pronouns gave us a little bit of trouble a few weeks ago, so we did a little bit of "reteaching" and I found the cutest song on Pintrest check it out here! The kids love it!
